Dental Scrap Refining Process

Step 1

Each lot received is weighed, digitally photographed, assigned a lot number and logged into our system. Our client is immediately notified of receipt, weight and nature of the material.


	Step 2 Addition of various chemicals as a catalyst (flux) to assist the effectiveness of the melting process. This proprietary mixture has been developed by Albar to insure the most efficient and consistent results. .

	Step 3 The material is placed into a 20 KW induction furnace. During this process the metal begins its separation from the surrounding porcelain.

Additional amounts of flux are added to insure any remaining contaminants are destroyed.
